Booking Through Thursday : OOP
This week’s question is suggested by Island Editions:
Do you have a favourite book, now out of print, that you would like to see become available again? (I have several…)
Yes, I'm a huge fan of Winnie-The-Pooh, and I can't find it in French version, with the original drawings by E.H. Shepard. In France, apparently we just know the Disney version, which is ok, but the original drawings are so...simply better. Once I asked a bookseller, and she didn't even know that Winnie was not Disney originally, I was really shocked to hear that. The only solution I have is to try and find one old french edition, which will cost certainly too much for my wallet;o)
